I love these...

...little paper lanterns.















They were a Christmas gift from The Mad Woman of Yorkshire. I've lined them along a ledge in my kitchen and they look very jolly indeed! I don't know where she got them from, but they'd be very easy to make. Just an oblong of wallpaper or card with evenly spaced cuts, fold it in half lengthways to create the crease and then secure into a tube shape et voila!

    I must say they're very pretty and would look nice hanging from a tree in the summer. I visited "the mad woman from Yorkshire" yesterday lol.
